French Urn - Examples from a Series
These examples from a series of original whimsical urn etchings dated 1743 by Francois Boucher (1793-1770), engraved by Pierre Alexandre Aveline (1702-1762) and published in Paris by Huquier ex-rue des Mathurins. These elaborate urns are each completely unique (notice the child, mermaid, wolf, centaur…) and are printed on yard paper. They each measure 7.5”x11.5”.
