Son of Frank Myer Boggs, he lived 1900-1950. The younger Boggs exhibited in the prestigious Parisian Art Salons of his day, and today his works hang in the Musee Lambinet in Versailles and in the Musee du Petit Palais in Geneva. He studied with Gen Paul, and was known for his strong impasto style. This piece is oil on canvas. Signed lower left in original frame. Measurements without frame 23.5”X19.5”, with frame 34”X30”.
