Laloue was a French artist born in Paris. He was known for his accuracy in his works in depicting 1900’s life, particulary of France. He also painted landscapes primarily in Seine-et-Marne. As a painter, he also used other names including “Juliany” and “L Dupuy” among others. In 1914 he was commissioned by the French government to works as a “war artist” during WWI. Today his works are present in the Musee de Beux-Arts in Louvrier, Musee des Beaux Arts in La Rochelle and the Gallery of Beaux Arts in Mulhouse.
